QUICHE FOR A CROWD RECIPE
My Favorite Links:
SO MANY PEOPLE ASKED FOR THE RECIPE FOR THE QUICHE I MADE FOR THE BRUNCH AT MY HOUSE FOLLOWING THE CABARET CARAVAN IN PALM SPRINGS IN JANUARY THAT I DECIDED TO JUST PRINT IT IN MY NEWSLETTER.

THE BASIC QUICHE HAS ONLY FIVE INGREDIENTS:

12 EGGS
1 CUP MILK
1-1/2 TSP. SALT
1-1/4 CUP BISQUICK MIX
AND 2 CUPS SHREDDED CHEESE (YOUR CHOICE)

THE OTHER INGREDIENTS ARE UP TO YOU.  I MADE THREE TYPES:

BACON & ONION

ARTICHOKE HEARTS & SUN-DRIED TOMOTOES

DICED CANNED GREEN CHILES, CANNED CORN & SALSA

JUST LAYER YOUR CHOICES ALONG WITH THE CHEESE IN A 9" X 13" GREASED BAKING PAN, MIX THE EGGS, MILK & BISQUICK, POUR OVER LAYERS, BAKE AT 350 FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED AND STILL MOIST.  SLICE INTO 12 SQUARES.

IF YOU ARE MAKING SEVERAL, YOU CAN USE ALUMINUM PANS AND EVEN MAKE THEM THE DAY BEFORE AND REFRIGERATE UNTIL READY TO BAKE.
